I investigate secure communication protocols and intrusion detection for wireless sensor networks and the Internet of Things. By addressing security at the protocol level, I aim to enable safer deployment of IoT in healthcare, smart cities, and industry.
Identifying vulnerabilities in low-power devices and designing efficient algorithms that detect anomalies without draining device resources.

In my courses on Cybersecurity and Networks, I combine lectures with hands-on labs where students configure firewalls and simulate attacks. I emphasize collaborative projects, peer instruction, and regular code reviews.
My goal is for students to build real-world skills; many have gone on to top software firms. I also mentor students in our security lab, guiding them to publish their work.
